Giving Back Beyond the Show Floor:

At SourceOne Events, creating meaningful experiences extends far beyond convention centers, trade shows, and event venues. We believe in making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work, and recently, members of our Orlando team had the opportunity to do just that.

Several members of the SourceOne Events team recently partnered with fellow professionals from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE)community to volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Together with others from across the events industry, they united around a common goal: helping provide meals and support to families facing food insecurity throughout Central Florida.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida plays a critical role in supporting local families and individuals in need. Through a network of more than 750 partner agencies, mobile food pantries, and innovative programs such as Mercy Kitchen, the organization distributes nearly 300,000 meals every day across its seven-county service area. Mercy Kitchen alone prepares thousands of nutritious meals daily for children, seniors, and families facing food insecurity.

The impact of the volunteer effort was significant. Together, volunteers packed an impressive11,742 pounds of food, providing the equivalent of 9,785 meals that will directly benefit individuals and families throughout the region.

For the SourceOne team, the day was about more than packing food; it was about teamwork, community, and giving back. The event brought together professionals from across the exhibitions and events industry, demonstrating how collaboration can make a meaningful difference beyond the events we produce.
