Giving Back Through the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program

At SourceOne Events, we believe in supporting our local communities.

During the holiday season, our Chicago and Orlando teams were proud to partner with the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program to help bring a little extra joy to children and families throughout both communities.

The Angel Tree Program connects donors with children and families in need by providing wish lists that include essential items, clothing, and holiday gifts. Through the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community organizations, thousands of children can experience the excitement of opening gifts on Christmas morning. In the Chicagoland area alone, the program supports families through a network of Salvation Army community centers and volunteers.

Our team came together to adopt Angel Tree recipients and shop for their requested items, ensuring that local children received gifts they might not otherwise have experienced during the holidays. From toys and books to warm winter clothing, every donation represented an opportunity to make the season a little brighter for a family in our community. What made the experience especially meaningful was knowing that these gifts go directly to families facing difficult circumstances. The Angel Tree Program helps preserve the magic of the holiday season while providing support to parents and caregivers who may be struggling financially.

Giving back has always been an important part of the SourceOne Events culture. Whether we’re volunteering at food banks, supporting community organizations, or participating in charitable programs like Angel Tree, we are grateful for opportunities to make a positive impact beyond our day-to-day work.

We are incredibly proud of our team members who participated and thankful to the Salvation Army for organizing a program that helps bring hope, joy, and holiday cheer to so many families each year.
